As a fourth generation California native, my desire to in some way capture and make sense of my extreme and ever-changing surroundings has been a constant. Life and travel abroad have deepened my appreciation for the evocative nature of light and the varied textures of the sensual world. My background and ongoing interest in language, performance, music and dance continue to shape and refine my sensibility while informing my relationship to the materials I paint with. |
